“Wow! Sounds so very simple to say, but let’s start with my history with McCall. She and her posse, especially Fu will be sorely missed. What a fantastic ride for the past few years from Workman’s Complication to Gottiguard. I love each and every one of the characters from the DCup players to Dectective Logan; every turn, arrest, killing, murder, rescue, clue, etc.

What a phenomenal fun ride. Am I happy that Mr. Leder without our consent decided unilaterally to stop the ride? Not really, but he did it in such a beautiful and final way to make everyone content, especially me. Kate found and dispatched Jimmy’s killer. Matthew and Nina are going to have a baby; Kate went to the wedding and seemed to acknowledge Nina as her daughter in law - finally. Great. Rick and Kate seem to really love each other; time will tell. Kate has promised Matthew and Logan, “No Murders” — let’s hope, because Fu will not be around to rescue her for the eighth or ninth time (Fu know first).

“I have read all but one of Leder's book. In the que is "Cooking for Cannibals". I love Leder's fast pace style, never knowing what will be written on the next page. He is quick witted, quippy. Hate to see the Kate series end but no telling what his next book will be for us readers.”
